How do we book your services
Contact us to pencil in your wedding date; fill out the booking form - download here - and send to Creative DVD Wedding, 4 Kerry Close, Derry Hill, Wiltshire, SN11 9PE with the booking deposit of £150
Can I choose my own backing music?
Yes, we ask you to supply a copy of music which is meaningful to you, allowing the correct version and artist to be used.
How is the music copyright handled?
We obtain all the appropriate copyright licenses prior to the start of any filming, this includes hymes, songs of worship, music/songs performed during the signing of the register, music recorded whilst being played or performed live during your day. The wedding video recording license covers; Christian copyright, mechanical copyright, phonographic copyright provided by the European copyright licensing.
Can I order extra copies and how much are they?
Yes, master copies are retained for a minimum period of 5 years following the date of your wedding. Extra copies can be purchased prior to or after you wedding day. Copies are £16 each including postage and packaging
How come you are so expensive for a single day's work?
The day filming is just the tip of the iceberg. On top of the, on average, 12 hours of filming your day the editing takes between 40-70 hours to complete. Also included in the price is the required copyright licenses and equipment maintenance.
My Uncle Tom said he will record the day...
We recommend that you record your day with a professional. Uncle Tom will record your day with your best interests at heart, but does he have the right equipment and experience? Will he resist the celebration? We use the latest Sony broadcast quality cameras, microphones, radio mics, high definition recording equipment and stay sober ensuring your day is capture in its entirety.
How long does it take to receive the finished copy?
This is dependent upon the month you are married in. We cover weddings all year round, the busiest periods being between the end of March to the beginning of November. Your wedding DVD is usually delivered within 6-8 weeks following your wedding.
Why does it take so long to get the finished edit?
We pride ourselves in providing you the highest quality wedding DVD final product, treating each wedding as an individual special occasion. To this end we do not speed edit as the quality and flow of you wedding film would reduce. We provide films which you will enjoy for years to come.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Wiltshire - SN119PE -, but cover England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Please contact use for a mileage quotation. Mileage is charged at £0.40 per mile with the first 100 miles free.
What are the hidden costs?
Nothing is hidden. All costs are quoted up front and are known at the point of booking. There are no further charges or costs applicable by you following the signing of the contract. At times it may be necessary to rewrite the contract if the circumstances of the contract deviate significantly - ie change of package, location, video enhancements etc.
