Terms and Conditions

It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted by both Creative DVD Wedding and the client in writing.

Booking Deposit:  A deposit of £150.00 is required at the time of booking, together with a signed booking form.  Dates are reserved only when this deposit is paid by cash or cheque.  Please make cheques payable to Creative DVD Wedding.  An unconditional refund policy exists for a period of 14 days from receipt of this contract and payment.

Balance Payment:  The balance payment is to be made no later than 28 days prior to the Wedding Ceremony.  Payment for additional DVD videos can be made prior to or after your wedding.

Copyright:  The 1998 Copyright, Designs and Patents Act assigns copyright to Creative DVD Wedding and Andy Pass.  You may not copy the edited DVD/VHS video produced under this contract, or allow copies to be made photographically,      electronically, or by any other means.  The photography carried out during the day is as an enhancement to the video service and should not be considered as the soul photography of your day, thus all photographs taken and provided to you can be reproduced by any means without affecting the copyright act of Andy Pass and Creative DVD Wedding. 
Creative DVD Wedding reserves the right to use any media captured on your wedding day for promotional purposes, however we will not disclose any personal details.

Cancellation:  If, after a period of 14 days from date of signing the contract, the contract has to be cancelled by the wedding party the deposit will be held by Creative DVD Wedding as compensation for loss of income.
If Creative DVD Wedding has to cancel for reasons beyond control (death, injury, serious illness etc), all parties shall be notified as soon as possible and all monies paid be refunded in full.

Privacy:  Creative DVD Wedding will store your name and wedding details on a private internal database.  The details will not be made available to companies or individuals outside Creative DVD Wedding.  Should you wish to have your details removed from the database please advise in writing to the address above.  Creative DVD Wedding will hold the raw footage for a minimum period of 6 months and the edited edition for a minimum period of 5 years following the wedding day.

Fees: The total fee for the chosen package, as agreed at the time of booking, will not be changed or altered  by Creative DVD Wedding (unless the client wishes to change package).  We allow the client to have freedom to change their package at any point upto 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.  There is no charge for changing package apart from cancellation – see above.

Additional Charges:The fee does not include any charges made by the wedding venue – you must pay these fees directly to the venue prior to the start of any filming.  Without the payment of these fees (if applicable) Creative DVD Wedding will not be held responsible for the quality of coverage during the ceremony service.

Parking: It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that there is appropriate parking provisions avaliable for Creative DVD wedding at all locations including the ceremony and reception venues.

Live recording: It is understood that Creative DVD Wedding will make every effort to capture the wedding day to the highest possible quality.
